This blog was inspired by a comment someone made about Pride & Prejudice.
They reckoned that you couldn't write a modern day version of the book, set in modern times, with similar themes and similar layout - small community, just a few families in the book, such detailed characters/caricatures etc... You couldn't write that and have it be popular.
I disagree.
I think you could.
So I'm going to give it a go.
Starting with this blog.
I'm going to write down little incidents that happen in my life, descriptions of people I meet, and just see what happens.
No original names or identifying features about anyone will be retained.
