Anna is the most argumentative person I know. Just today we were discussing 'Pride & Prejudice' and everything I tried to say, she had an argument against.
And that's always the way it is.
She's not very good at accepting being wrong. Sometimes she eventually sees your point, and says "Oh...yeah, I suppose..." - and then launch into some sidetrack with "...but, don't you think that..." and off she goes!
There are lots of moments in our conversations when I have to say to myself "Just shut up. She's not going to understand what you're saying, so you're just wasting your breath."
When Anna believes that something is right or wrong, you never stop hearing about it. She is also incapable of putting herself in someone else's shoes.
For example, for the last 3 years, she's been trying to convince me to go skiing with her sometime. She's passionate about skiing, and wants to get a job as part of a ski patrol somewhere. I, however, have never been drawn to skiing and don't plan on trying it anytime soon. But no matter what I say, she's still trying to drag me up that mountain.
Because she loves something, then she thinks that everyone else will too.
I love singing Shania Twain and Taylor Swift into my hairbrush. But do I insist that she try it and love it??
